Captivating Landscapes
Ever since Hans Lippershey invented the telescope (in 1608), we have looked into the darkness that engulfs us each night. We have discovered planets, stars, solar systems and even galaxies. Yet, we are still to discover another place like earth. Yes, another place that’s capable of sustaining our primitive carbon structure. Thank you earth! You have given us the vast oceans, the majestic mountains, the great walls of ice and the lost civilisations.

Personal Statement
To me landscape photography requires patience, commitment and above all a genuine love to be outdoors (surrounded by the elements). Sometimes the harshest weather conditions have rewarded me with that one unique photo. On other days I have been left wanting for a more dramatic background. You never quite know what to expect. I would be the first to admit that luck has played a big part in some of my best pieces. However I do believe I made my own luck through perseverance and enthusiasm. This series pays tribute to the way I have experienced some of the many wonders our planet has to offer.
