Amazing Wildlife
From the deepest oceans to the vast plains of Africa, a diversity of species surrounds us. Witnessing their behaviour in the wild is truly exhilarating. It should not be a privilege for the chosen few or a heritage taken for granted. The world grows smaller each day and habitats disappear. Species dwindle, some become extinct. For many it is the last stand. Will our generation be remembered as the bystanders watching the beginning of the end?

Captivating Landscapes
Ever since Hans Lippershey invented the telescope (in 1608), we have looked into the darkness that engulfs us each night. We have discovered planets, stars, solar systems and even galaxies. Yet, we are still to discover another place like earth. Yes, another place that’s capable of sustaining our primitive carbon structure. Thank you earth! You have given us the vast oceans, the majestic mountains, the great walls of ice and the lost civilisations. This series pays tribute to the many wonders our planet has to offer.

Humanity
7.7 billion people share this planet. We have oceans that separate us and borders that divide us. We have linguistic differences and cultural hurdles. This matters not. A smile is a smile. A tear shows emotion. Travel is the best way to embrace ethnic diversity and the abundant variations in style and appearance. The little differences will matter no more.

Black and White
A black and white monochrome image is timeless. It draws in the observer to connect with the image at an emotional level. Gone are distracting colours. What remains is the purest form of photography. The tone can be dramatic or soft, happy or sad. To me, it is the most thought provoking type of photography. A good image should stir an emotional response in the observer. I hope this happens to you, even if you may see the world as just black and white…
